Terms of use

1. The service
K-12 Top Tutors provides live group courses and private tutoring for school learners, together with schedules, assignments and study material, through this website. Lessons are taught by our teachers at the times shown for each group.
2. Accounts
- Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done through your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- An account is for one person. A parent or guardian may add their own children to their account.
- If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the permission of your parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for payment.
3. Enrolment and payment
- The price of each course is shown in Egyptian pounds (EGP) before you confirm an order.
- Payment is made by bank transfer through InstaPay to the account shown at checkout, using the reference we give you for the order.
- A place on a course is confirmed only when we have confirmed receipt of your transfer. Until then the order is pending, and places are limited to the size of the group.
- An order that is not paid within a reasonable time may be cancelled.
- If the amount received differs from the order, or a transfer cannot be matched to an order, we will contact you to resolve it.
4. Refunds and cancellation
- You may cancel and receive a full refund if you ask before the first lesson of the course takes place.
- Once the course has started, fees are not refundable.
- If we cancel a course before it starts, we refund the full amount paid.
- If we have to cancel a single lesson, we will arrange a replacement lesson.
- Refunds are returned to the account the payment came from. To ask for one, write to mohabahmed476@gmail.com with your order reference.
5. Lessons and conduct
- Join lessons on time and treat teachers and other learners with respect.
- Do not record, photograph or share a lesson, or share the link to it with anyone who is not enrolled.
- Do not copy another person's work or submit work that is not your own.
- Do not disrupt lessons, harass anyone, or try to reach another person's account or information.
A teacher may remove a learner from a lesson for disruptive behaviour. Lessons are not recorded at present; our Privacy notice explains what would happen if that changes.
6. Study material
Lesson material, assignments and resources on the site belong to K-12 Top Tutors or its licensors. You may use them for the enrolled learner's own study. You may not copy, share, publish or sell them. Work a learner submits remains the learner's; we use it only to teach and give feedback.
7. Results
We teach carefully and to the curriculum, but a learner's results depend on many things outside our control. We do not promise any particular mark, grade or exam outcome.
8. Availability
We work to keep the site and lessons available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance or by things outside our control, such as an internet or power failure. If a lesson cannot take place for a reason on our side, we will arrange a replacement.
9. Suspending or closing an account
You may ask us to close your account at any time by writing to mohabahmed476@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts other users at risk. Where that is practical we will warn you first. The refund rules in section 4 still apply.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited. Beyond that, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability to you for a course is limited to the fees you paid for it.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new date; a significant change will be announced to account holders before it takes effect. A course you have already paid for continues under the terms in force when you enrolled.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at mohabahmed476@gmail.com; we will try to resolve it with you directly. Disputes that cannot be resolved are for the competent Egyptian courts.
